Original Finish

Original Finish (OF) is a term used to describe a mass-produced model that is in its unmodified form from a manufacturer.

Plastic OF models are usually hollow and made of cellulose acetate or other injection-molded plastic.
Resin OF models can be solid or hollow and made of cast resin.
China OF models are generally either earthenware or porcelain.

There is some debate about whether a restored Original Finish model can still be called OF.
